Moving Anxiety Can Cause Suffering

The emotional stress that comes with a move is one of the top anxiety producers.

I experienced this today when my daughter moved another time within a year. This time she is going even farther away , however she will be getting reaquainted with her older sister and one of her brothers lives close too.

The moving anxiety is being felt by me the most I think ,as when people are young and just starting out, moving is stressful but is also an adventure.

As a mother I should be used to all the moves we have helped the children do but it never gets easier for me.

There seems to be different forms of anxiety, stress and worry each time I go through a move along with them.

During these times I remember that a move is not the end of the world and that my children have not gone to the end of the world and I am within a distance where I can see them without that much difficulty.

Keeping my thoughts in perspective is one way to begin the self-talk I do to bring myself back into the moment and ground my thoughts in the present. If you do not bring your thoughts into what is happening at the moment, you will end up having thoughts that take you down the path of worry and perhaps your moving anxiety feelings begin to take you on the runaway train for a ride filled with fear, panic, stress and ultimately anxiety. You may even feel depressed along with all kinds of negative scenarios.

When we first feel anxiety it is usually after a period of worry and stress. Our bodies can feel shut down. It has reached its capacity to deal with the situations and has reached the breaking point. If you listen to your body ,it is saying enough is enough. Some people even say they experience a feeling of detachment.

It really does not matter what the symptoms are that caused  these feelings because for each person there is a different breaking point and that is where the body can not take anymore. At this time your body is looking for rest and time to rejuvenate itself.

Do we listen to our bodies when it is so obvious that there is distress?

In most cases, we do not pay attention because we are so ingrained with the need to carry on that we lose sight of the importance of taking action for ourselves.

We fight our own thoughts and create worry over and over again on a daily basis thus living in a cycle of anxiety and other related health problems.

We tell ourselves to get a grip and this is another anxiety producing negative talk situation that keep the symptoms in a persitant state.

In order to help with moving anxiety or any anxiety, panic, worry, fear, or stress, do not fight to feel better.

Embrace nature, go outside. Do something different when you feel the worry building up inside you. A change of scene or doing an activity such as a walk or exercise relaxes tense muscles and relieves mental and physical stress.

Stress reduction leads to better sleep and a rested body is one that can heal.

If you are sleep deprived your mind is not able to accept the self help you are giving it. In the world of anxiety and stress there is a cycle that feeds off of itself and is a circle that keeps going around and around, getting stronger while it zaps you of your ability to be effective in a recovery program.

Exercise also burns off the stress chemicals and creates a release for the anxiety, stress and worry that builds throughout the day.

Taking care of the body is prep work so you can take care of the mind.

You will find and learn ways to do this with the Anxiety Ending System. Our book, Regain Your Freedom And Overcome Your Fears has easy methods to use alone or as a combined program.
