End Anxiety: Response
Dear Friend: I read your comment on the Paris Hilton article. I have to say that this one article got a lot of people thinking and talking about anxiety. We had so many diverse opinions that I felt I would comment on the comment.
We certainly do not make light of a very serious disorder, however, some people do find the lighter side of life a relief from their daily dealings with their own anxiety issues. This of course does not apply to all anxiety sufferers but as I mentioned, some people are in a place in their recovery from anxiety that they can begin to see and get back the appreciation of light humor.
That being said, many people are working their programs and techniques thus getting closer to their goal to end anxiety in their lives. Understanding your own personal anxiety triggers and situations is a private thing and networking with other like minded people can help you feel not so isolated while revealing only what you wish to.
Even people who appear privileged and spoiled may have issues that are being covered up by their outward actions. I can not imagine what my whole life and attitude would be if I lived in a spotlight and was left to be scrutinized by the world. I have my own issues just being a private citizen.
Sometimes people use their bad behavior to cover up all sorts of emotional and mental problems. They do not want to deal with them , so they act out as a form of denial and escape.
This is a very complex issue and has as many opinions, as people you speak to about it.
Thank you for taking the time to send your comment. As always we value all opinions.
We all agree on a few basic principles and that is that anxiety can cause suffering and anxiety has no favorites. It knows no boundaries as far as wealth, gender, position in life or religious beliefs. Anxiety can set up shop anywhere and at any time. I am sure you are aware of these factors.
I know if you try the Regain Your Freedom Technique found in our book: Anxiety Ended: Regain Your Freedom And Overcome Your Fears you will find the information easy and simple to follow.
You will be surprized to find that you are already doing two of the actions needed in the technique found in our book.
September is approaching , and just like we get ready for the summer when we think of losing those pounds gained over the previous winter, now is the time to take action and get started on our own anxiety ending journey. With school beginning for some children for the first time it could be a time of anxiety for the parents and caregivers as well as for those starting in a new school or grade. Perhaps this will be the first time your child is leaving home to go to further their education. Even though they are older does not mean you and your child may not experience forms of anxiety, worry, and fear of the unknown.
To venture out is a part of life. Trying new things, obtaining independence and learning the ropes of the world.
Recognizing your feelings and acknowledging them will help you deal with anxiety before it takes root and sets up shop in your mind, causing you to lose the important focus on life itself.
