I felt the same way when I had to take my cat Tiger to the humaine society... even though the little guy liked scratching my house to pieces and gave my girlfriend watery eyes (she's allergic) it was one of the hardest things I had to do...and I only had him for a few months... Like you say...the NEW cycle begins! Maybe I'll get another one... or may be a monkey, or possibly a giraffe :) OK, now I know it's late...I can tell by my last sentence! Glad to hear you have a new one on the way...
