ANXIETY : ANXIOUS ABOUT BEING ANXIOUS
I know you must be wondering what the title means,so I will explain the reasons behind it.
I was doing some research on the subject of anxiety and all the related topics like phobias, shyness,depression,post traumatic stress syndrome, panic attacks and many more categories.
It seemed to me that there were so many forms of this condition I just had to write the title as I did.
To me ,after hours of reading all the information I felt I had to find something to break the downward spiral I was headed into.
Once again I saw the humor in something that is not usually to funny.
Ever since I was a little girl I used humor in situations without even trying to. Today was no different I guess.
When I feel overwhelmed the humor just kicks in. It is always there to rescue me from the anxiety and panic before they swallow me up.
Maybe there is something that happens to you when things get too out of control. Open up your mind and see what there is inside of you . Maybe you have a resource that you could tap into that could help in times of distress ,just like I have humor.
It is a saving grace even if I keep the humorous thoughts to myself,it still is there to help. Like an old friend.
Think about what I have said and go to your happy place ,hum your favorite song,recite a poem or even think of a favorite episode of a T.V. show you like.
Get your mind to help you instead of dragging you into the depths of despair.
Practice this and you will be amazed at the time you now do not spend wasted on the anxiety .
I would rather have humor as an old friend instead of panic and anxiety.
These conditions cycle round and round, feeding off of every experience it puts you through.
Lets work on this together and know that you are not alone.
This is my own opinion but I feel it will work if we keep up the strength and positive outlook.
Panic definitely does not like Positivity.Lets use our minds against this.
